Now you have got me thinking about my mud flap. I have a 2004 Itasca DP with a full width heavy mud flap. Last summer we went through a very rough and uneven construction area in Montana, one side of the mud flap fell off and dragged for quite a few miles. I took it off and drove another 1000 miles last year towing my jeep. I did have 2 fog lights break after taking the mud flap off so I was thinking that I should put it back on.
Now I am thinking that maybe I should install mud flaps directly behind each dual and
a grass skirt full width flap where my old full width flap was. Does that make sense?
