Muffler

I'm trying to locate a replacement muffler for my 2003
Allure 30856 with a Cummins ISL 370. The one on it now is a Donaldson part # M120566 with a 4" side inlet and a 5" end-outlet at the 9:00 o’clock position. All images I see online, including Donaldson's are with 3:00 o'clock position. Donaldson is scratching their heads and is supposed to call me back. Anyone have any advice? TIA

  • You don't need a muffler, just put on a straight pipe.
Unlike a gas engine diesel does not need back pressure and
if you look at a new muffler it is open to both ends.

  • Since the 3:00 O clock and 9:00 O clock position are exactly oppposite can it just be turned over?
