The real Geturi comes with tips/extensions that would adapt to your existing pipe.
If you believe it's working just like the real thing I won't rain on your parade. What you have is better than nothing. keep an eye on Craigslist you can find the real thing for a decent price until then be safe
My neighbors on both sides don't have a genturi or any kind of exhaust redirect on their rigs. In fact, maybe a quarter of the folks here have anything at all on their rigs. I'm one of the few considerate and informed ones and my neighbor appreciates it. He didn't even know this could be a problem.
I simply fail to see how my life would have been enhanced in any real or imagined way had I gone through the extra trouble and expense.
