I say overhaul the water heater but basically it entailed replacing parts in a semi-logical order until the problem resolved itself.lol.
The water heater stopped working and I replaced the main burner assy, the spark probe, E.C.O. and TSAT. At that point, it was either the main control board or the gas valve.
