Steve - thanks for the great response. Read thru your other posts and looked up the Liland rad at CarID - my model is a 1993 Ford and they offer a 3 row radiator for an $18 upgrade fee (see nothing mentioned about a 4 row), so I guess the "standard" replacement is a 2 row...which is what the Spectra advertises.
I gotta tell you this is all pretty confusing...Liland offers 2 thicknesses for my 1993 model - 1.77" and 2.17" - both of which are smaller than my current Spectra or the OEM, which are closer to 3".
I do not know how many rows my old OEM one had - I've since gotten rid of it.
I am suspecting the radiator is just not up to the task either, but I don't know...
I do know this though my upper hose is close to 215, but so is my lower hose. But, I think I've read at idle the temp differences between the upper and lower hoses won't be that great...
