Yes. 2*BTC actual vs. 10*BTC spec means 8* ********, and ******** contributes to Overheating.
There may be something else going on, but adjust timing and try another run. Unless the ECM corrects idle speed on its own, it's gonna idle faster than you like when the timing's advanced that 8*. You may have to adjust that idle speed.
