What do you want to fulltime? We're on our third year of full timing and we do it to travel and see the sights, not to take animals on vacation. I love dogs, but when the lasts one passed on we never got another. Someday maybe a small one, but never multiples. Too restrictive, too much maintenance. I've spoken to many multiple pet owners at the parks, and they admit to it being very restrictive. I hit the road to get away from them, not take them with me.
F/T not really cheap either. You'll pay $30-50 a night when traveling, cheaper if you stay longer. Then $100 plus on days when you travel in fuel costs. I think you and your wife need to discuss your plans in more detail. If you both aren't on board with it, it can be a strain. Good luck!
