Mystery Electrical box under dash

Hello. I have a 96 Southwind and I need help sorting out the electrical under the dash. Please help me identify this device.
It appears to be spliced into the Ford ECU and has an after market fuse that is wired into the chassis fuse box. It is labeled M4601-A UNDRIVE

    I’m guessing it is either a cruise control device or maybe some type of overdrive device!

    Nope!

    That is not an image link. That is a web site specific link.

    You have to right click on the image and copy IMAGE LOCATION with the .jpg on the end. Don't forget to enter a size so it does not make a mess of the viewing space.

    You can't post links to images on your computer. You need to use a free service like imgur, or some such, and provide the link to the uploaded image.
