Seems like I was finding them priced at $150-$160 each as opposed to around $60 each for the Monroe's. So the way it's looking for a savings of $400 I could go with Monroe's and have descent shocks for 40K miles. As for the Bilstein's lasting forever, the ones that are on my RV right now are completely worn out at 58K miles. Like I said, I'm not a some kind of a cushy ride snob, as long as the shocks work and I can have a safe ride I'm happy. Yes, it'd be nice to be able always buy the best (and have someone else install them), but that's just not my reality these days. And if nothing else, I am a realist.
