National Tradewinds LE fuse panels

Update on the steps not staying out. I found out by accident while stoping at a diesel station that if I keep the ignition key one click to the left of running. The steps are controlled by the step switch by the front door. I have always been turning the key to the upright position thinking that was off, i am not sure what the two key positions are. Off and accessory? Either way I was able to enjoy having the steps stay out when I wanted them to. So hope this helps someone else if they run into this issue.

I have a National Tradewinds 7370 and mine has a dump valve in the left of the drivers seat where the Jake Brake and other switches are located. I have a Freightliner chassis so it may not be the same for you. I also noticed there was a lot of information on the internet concerning the Kwikee steps. One guy noted he hit his with a hammer and they began to work. If that doesn't work, how about a larger hammer. (just kidding) I hope you were able to get them working. I haven't heard about the tail light problem but like others, I feel you blew a fuse. Now if only you can find the fuse Enjoy the trip.

Some rigs have an air dump that works with the stabilizers.
See what make and model of the stabilizers you have..
You should put your rig in your signature or profile. It helps get better answers.
You start a new thread for the stabilizer question. I had manual air bags on my rig. It is a gas p-30 chassis so it doesn't really pertain to your rig.

I have an off the subject question. But u have air bags for suspension is there a way to dump the air out? The reason I ask is when I raise the jacks the air is forced out and it changes how level the coach is. I have seen a lower button on dashes of certain coaches.

Manual should have troubleshooting if not go to their website. They have been bought out but it goes to the new website.

I found a manual it's a kwikee I think is how it's spelled.

The grounds could look "atached" and stilll be bad.
Look for make of step. This would help in identifing your problem.

I looked under there didn't see anything unhooked. How can I attach a photo so you can see if I am missing something?

The two grounds are normally "black". Depends on make of step.
You must crawl under and look behind the step.
BE CAREFUL! The step could move just by moving the wires.

I will take a look tonight.I am far from an electrician so what color is the wire and should I see it with the steps out or in?
