Near Mess
Went camping last weekend and dumped the tanks before we left the park. I always flush the tanks when we get home. I had replaced my sewer hose a few weeks ago, my ends were hose clamped on, so I just bought the replacement hose at walmart and clamped the ends back on.
I ran about 20gal of water up through the valve and when I opened the valve the end on the valve side blew off and within seconds I had 20 gal of( lets call it water) in my shoes!!I can't imagine the mess I would have had if this had happened at the park. At least with the flush water it looked clean. I now don't know rather to try to put the hose back together with maybe some kind of glue and use better clamps or throw it away and go buy the $30 rhino hose kit. The end that blew off had a thumb screw hose clamp on it, if I try it again I will use a screw driver type.
