As a former Boeing Quality Inspector, I'm particularly sensitive to the original post issues. Even with my so called "custom" rv, I still see shortcuts and sloppy workmanship while working on mine. Wire connections and supports not to spec, fasteners too short, too long, crooked, bad holes, sloppy installation and engineering. my biggest disbelief is the front wheels "hub caps" who holds on a 5lb hunk of metal with 2 nuts and only 1 thread in bearing? why can't they just put the next length stud on and have it hold correctly? hahahahaha. don't get me started on the grounds on the tail lights. I wish I could find some of the electrical hardware we used at Boeing.
