Need a referral for Autopark issue

Hi:

I am having an issue w/my Autopark and it's not the usual suspect (RGS). My dealer is having a problem identifying the problem (parking brake locked). They state they have replaced all 3 switches, checked the solenoid, wiring harness & fuses. If they force power to the pump from an outside source it runs. I may need to have it towed somewhere else. Can anyone give me a referral for someone you trust that is a crackshot mechanic on these Workhorse Chassis/Autopark issues? Near Fairless Hills, PA, zip code 19030.

Many thanks

  • Roger (aka Old Used Bear)'s e-mail. He IS, repeat IS the guru on auto park and a great guy to work with.

  • I think I read that you could do away with the whole thing and go to a manual e-brake with over the counter parts. May be a optional way to go.
  • Thanks Rob & Jean. Roger has been a tremendous help in the past. I don't do the work on my MH myself and have to rely on my dealer. I have forwarded them all the info I have on file from the Autopark Library and Roger's e-mail address, but I don't believe they are going to take the time to exchange e-mails w/him. They have had my rig since before memorial day and I'm at my wits end and don't know where else to turn. I need to tow it someplace else / to someone that can troubleshoot and fix it without taking me to the cleaners. Last years I was jerked around by a so called Workhorse Authorized Service Center in Phila (Bentley Truck). Please be forewarned, don't EVER go there they are liars and thieves. At least I trust my dealer, even if they are currently having trouble identifying the issue.
