AutoPark Issue - 2001 Itasca Suncruiser
I've seen some older posts about this issue but wanted to see if there is any updated information regarding this issue. I had the AutoPark engage while driving. Luckily, I was able to pull right over. This happened several years ago. Replaced both pressure valves (wasn't the issue), checked for leaks (none), then removed the Vickers part that slides over the chrome shaft that mounts to the manifold below (see the photos with the two leads). When I pulled the Vickers part off the chrome shaft I found rust on the top and bottom. I cleaned the rust and it worked. Again, that was several years ago. So last month when this happened again, that's the first thing I did, but this time it didn't work. I did find the Vickers marked part (lack of a better term), had some cracks in the plastic coating, the leads look a bit worn and significant rust on the top and bottom. Cleaned the rust, but this time it didn't fix the issue. The AutoPark is still engaged. Normally when I start the RV you'll hear a loud buzzing sound, which means the AutoPark is engaged. I don't hear that now.
The black case shown has the part number of Vickers: 31092wp on the bottom. The aluminum tag that mounts under the top bolt, shows the Model Number: SV-3433. I'm assuming that the part for the entire solenoid assembly. I've searched the net but I'm not finding a replacement or cross reference part number. Anyone have any information on this issue and or where I can get this part. I have a trip coming up, and while I can physically disconnect the parking break cable, I'd rather just fix the problem.
Any information would be great. Thank you!
