Need advice re: monthly exercise...

This question is in regard to an '05 Itasca on Ford gas chassis. When not in use, I perform the following monthly exercises: 1. Check tire pressure, 2. Drive for about 20 miles at highway speed, 3. Run the generator one-half hour at 50% load, 4. Activate the sat. dish, 5. Run hyd. levelers down and up once, 6. Extend and retract slide outs, 7. check rear view camera. Am I missing anything? Should the refrigerator be run for several hours? Will appreciate any advice./ Larry

  • I'm in high humidity area.. not sure if it matters or not, but my RV guy told me to run my gen an hour a week.

I don't remember to do it, but that's what he said to do.
  • You are probably doing more than about 95 percent of all RV owners right now. In your high humidity area I'd probably run that generator a lot longer. When our humidity here is down around 10 percent for months I don't worry about running the gen at all.
