Need ecm locating help

Hello all,
I posted yesterday that I was down with transmission problems. Well after being towed to wenechee Wa. the shop has come up with the ECM being bad. This was by checking with diagnostic computer. Well to late today to locate one. So if anyone can point me in a direction near Seattle or vicinity where I might get an ECM for my Allison MD 3060 I would appreciate. Only have possibly a day and 1/2 before all is shut down for
labor day
  • http://www.huskyinternational.com/ If they don't have one they should know where to get one. They work on all kinds. I think they are open till mid night. If they don't have ask where to get one. And I don't know if I'd go re-built on that or not. I'd be tempted to have one next day air sent to me if re-built was maybe 70% cheaper than new. You get stuck over 3 day weekend and have a toad?
Lots to do around that area. Were you able to stay in rv or had to motel it? But your probably going to get as good if not better service where your at right now.
Shoot me PM if you need anything I'll try to help in I can.

(edit part) if no luck call "Power shop" http://www.thepowershop.com/those guys are always digging up parts. Many MH take there work there. And they are the only ones I trust with my 5.9 with but I will also say they are not cheap but do very good work. Regular hours m-f
  • Be certain that your ECM has a good case ground, ours drove us nutz, only to find it was a bad case ground.
  • Mobil Fleet Service in Wenatchee has their main shop in Yakima, and are certified in Allison repairs. They may have one at the Yakima shop, but someone would have to drive to Yakima to get it(4 hours round trip). The Wenatchee shop may do an emergency repair if they know that you have an ECM coming in the afternoon.
  • Pacific Power Products in Kent is the Allison factory dealer in Washington State.

I don't see many ECU's fail. I hope your shop has done a good job of ruling out the other possibilities.
