Need help finding staring solenoid

many relays look like that
start relays are light, intermittent duty, can NOT be left ON/engaged they will burn out the coil
battery charge control, fork lift, equipment relays
have to be continuous duty, cost a few buck more

Figured... good ol Ford S3 ...in use from early 50's to today on just about anything you can think of.

You're right. My bad. It's the battery disconnect relay.

Take the relay off the RV
Clean carefully with warm water
Get the numbers off the relay
Goto Grainger or some other industrial electrical supply house
Or
Look on line

OP: Call an RV Mobile Repair Mechanic.
THEY know where they all are in an RV blindfolded and on all makes of RV's! AND the repair will be half the cost of a local repair shop AND you won't have to drop the RV off for days to have it fixed.:W

Just one on my coach mounted below the battery on a frame member. My auto mechanic works on my RV. He's a great mechanic and reasonable. He has the motorhome now and I'm just trying to help find the part which is an easy install.

Ford V-10 solenoids are all over under the hood. One is attached to starter and is an assembly. That solenoid goes and you have to buy the whole darn thing. The other 3 or 4 are scattered all over. The one that goes out the most is the one mounted the inside of the side wall.

If not a Chevy dealership, I would think NAPA, Carquest, O'Rielly or any good auto parts store should have one.

Back when we had our gasser with a Ford V10, I was usually able to get these types of parts either from my local Carquest store or local Ford dealership. Just tell them what motor you have along with the model year.

It's at the shop. I'll try and swing by and take a pic. The off the shelf version doesn't have the extra wires.
