Hmmm...I'd vote for keeping the rig.
First, there's a good chance your daughters may end up living some distance from home. Having the motorhome will allow you to visit them, without "imposing". Find a campground nearby and at the end of the day you return to your RV. We've done this many times and is one of the prime reasons we purchased our RV almost 11 years ago. Of course, we had 4 young children, so it made it much less intrusive on our visits by being able to leave at the end of a day of visiting. :) Plus, after traveling in the motorhome, I really dislike travelling in the car. It's just so nice to have everything you need, food, refreshments, restroom while travelling. Plus, if there's a traffic tie-up, no big deal. While we're inching along, we take our bathroom breaks, grab a snack, and when the tie-up clears, we just keep rolling while everyone in their car heads for the nearest rest area.
Second, (although I think I had more than one point in my "First" :) ), It sounds like you have a good rig now. If it is the floorplan you like and has everything you need, it might not be easy to find such a unit 10-15 years from now. Heck, does anyone even know what a motorhome will look like in 10-15 years? You have it. It's paid for. Enjoy it whenever you can.
Third, we have used our motorhome for day trips numerous times. Heck, we live within 5 miles of Six Flags, and we have brought our rig there for the day on occasion. It's just nice to have a place to retreat to during the day to grab a drink and a snack.
Fourth, our rig is going on 11 years this year (I'm 54, we've had it since new, it has about 27,000 miles on it) and I expect it to last another 10-15 years at the least. Your rig is better than ours and it's just broken in. I would think it has lots of life left in it. And it's PAID FOR (as is ours).
Fifth, is, unfortunately, none of us really know what the future brings. Are you sure you'll be able to afford a motorhome in 10-15 years. Or, will you still have your health and be able to do what you plan in 10-15 years. I'm not trying to be pessimistic, just a bit of a realist. Life has it's way of throwing us curve balls and sometimes we get "beaned" pretty badly. Again, you have the rig, enjoy it whenever you can.
Good Luck in whatever you choose. Life's short. Enjoy it!
