Need help with diesel pusher selection

I looking to move up from my '05 Holiday Rambler Ambassador 40 PLQ. Looking for a used or new diesel pusher in the 36'-40' range. Must have lots of pass through basement storage and 10,000# towing capacity.

From the few I have looked at I like the Thor Venetian M37 but seems it must have come out in 2016 as I don't find any older ones advertised. Other possibilities are Tiffin Phaeton, Forest River Berkshire, Fleetwood Discovery, Pace Arrow, Pace Arrow LXE. Any I have missed?

Can anyone offer advice, especially about such issues as quality and reliability?

Thanks,
Ed

  • I'd go for the Winne over the Thor...if it would work...Also note that Winne had an incentive of a 3 yr warranty on all of its DP's for a bit..Don't know if that is still out there.
  • We liked the Winnebago Forza when we were at the Hershey show. Next nicest was the Thor Palozzo. Of course our price point was less than 200k. The Newmars to us had the most comfortable furniture. Tiffin's impressed us the least. All the Newmars and Tiffin diesels were high 200's to 300k+.
  • Newmar for sure, and there are a few Entegras with 39 feet I think out there..and of course Tiffin...

  • I'd look at Newmar of some Tiffin's if it was me looking!
