This points definitely to a problem with either the hot wire, ground wire, or socket of the left rear turn signal. If it was a fuse or the turn signal switch, the front turn signal wouldn't work either.
Focus first on the socket, it may have gone bad. If that doesn't fix it, run a new ground wire from the socket to the frame. If that doesn't fix it, trace the hot wire back from the rear turn signal to where it joins the front turn signal wire. It HAS to be in one of those.
