Good timing on your question as I just took my tube tv out yesterday. Very simple job really. Remove the plastic covers that hide the four philips heads screws that hold the plastic trim ring on.Remove the trim surrounding the tv. Using a 7/16" socket or wrench, you'll see the 2 nuts (one on each side of the tv) that is holding the tv in its locked down position. Remove these 2 nuts via the side compartments and the tv will be loosened up for a lift up and out of its cabinet. Be prepared for some disconnecting of wiring. There will be enough slack to slide the tv out and reach around back to disconnect the RG6 cable and speaker plug. Remember to unplug 120v before pulling it out completely. A helper will be useful but I did it myself w/o too much trouble. Now I'm researching what I'll replace it with.
