Snomas.....I agree to a certain degree with "n7bsn", but I got tired of the Winegard crank up (on my 05 Diplomat) banging in the wind, the handle that would get dry and hard to crank and the fact it was tough to clean around on the rough.
I added the "Jack" antenna with it's own base. It was a pretty simple install and fit the hole where the Winegard was removed without modification. It made for a very clean looking install inside. I turned mine on in the driveway (So Cal) and got 84 stations.
