Not that it will help you, but today I put a trav'ler on my Monaco. At the suggestion of people on this forum, I installed it a few inches left of center, and maintained 33" of clearance to my batwing.
Shame on the guys who installed it...
And you can use both. Let the Trav;ler lock on first, then crank up the batwing. Crank the batwing down before stowing the trav'ler.
