Need more cooling
Actually you need to
stop the heat from coming in on these MH's.
Especially when you are in the south. That sun is hot!
RV Pillow vents in all roof top vent openings makes a BIG difference.
Those plastic vent lids are not air tight and cool air goes right out and heat comes in. Smoke colored lids also makes a big dif.
Cover front windshield a must.
I bought van sized windshield sun shades. They fit perfectly under day night shades and put them on the side the sun is shining in on especially the afternoon sun. They are easily removed and folded up for storage. No nasty tape or velcro needed. I buy the ones with the palm tree scene on them so it doesn't look so tacky from the outside like that silver reflex stuff does.

I also put removable tint on my side windows after the first time parked in the hot Florida sun! Albiet I did it as a temporary fix when I stayed the summer in Florida....the tint is still on and looks great 4 years later!
Planning ahead helps also. I always try to get a site that my awning side is facing the afternoon sun. that way I put my awning in the lowest position come afternoon which shades that side of the MH. This makes a BIG dif in cooling also.
And I would check that your coils are clean. Once I started RV'ing in the south I found I had to add this to my maintenance program.
