Both you and the OP can use just about any of those listed on ebay or, found in your local wrecking yard. All it takes is a tiny bit of ingenuity and some light fabrication. Those little winches are seriously strong and capable. But, if you would be a bit skeptical, then use the winch to raise and lower the spare tire and wheel and, use a chain etc. for additional holding power to keep it up there, if you feel you need to. But, those work great if you've got the place to mount them and, an access for the crank to lower and raise them.
