- RE_ToddExplorerJust bought and changed four of the Sam's Energizer GC2's yesterday. 4 years from the first set.
- Flyfisherman128ExplorerI have a friend that owns a NAPA dealership and it cost me $110 each for my GC-2's last year. That was his cost. I guess I should have shopped more.

Two 6VDC from Sam's Club in my coach. Been in use a year with no problems.
The pic is from last year but I haven't notice a big jump in their prices. They gave me $15 for each dead battery I traded in so the discounted price was $64.88.
The current price for the Duracell GC2 battery at Sam's Club is $84.52 with a core. If you do not have a core they charge extra, not a discount for a trade-in.
This still makes my blems from Interstate at $54.95 with core the best deal IMO.
I think you said here was a short warranty on them? The 12 mo unconditional no questions asked replacement guarantee at Sams is real good. I used it once when one batt started to fail to take a full charge, I got all 4 replaced, no questions asked.

I wish I lived near a Sam's Club, there are none in the Portland Oregon area that I am aware of.
Costco also carries a Golf Cart 6V battery with the same specs. There are 5 of these stores in the Portland area.

Hi,
Do you boondock much? If not, a single 12 volt jar will meet your needs.Biggyniner wrote:
Hey all,
Essentially I need 4 new 6v house batteries around 230 amp hours each. I was looking at the RV-XHD interstate had to offer. Anyone know of a good place to buy batteries that won't require me to take out a loan?
I do about a 50/50 mix of full hookups and boon-docking. - NomadacExplorer
