My opinion is Tiffin is the better company to deal with. For me I wouldn't go with anything but a diesel. I watched a video comparison and the driver said the gasser drove like a diesel with the parking brake on. If the Jayco is using the Schwintek slide mechanism, as it is in the trailers, I wouldn't buy it - terrible. I have Schwintek on my trailer and hate it. The Cummins in the Tiffin is just getting broken in at 88,000 miles, that sucker will run forever. Gas motorhomes don't hold their resale value very well.
