New Class C owner here!

Enjoy! Such a pleasure to travel and camp in a motorhome! It is so enjoyable for us that we dawdle along and don't bother with reservations. We'd rather stop for ice cream and walks than make it to a planned destination.

This dealer has a 4 page (front and back) check list that the techs have to follow and "replace, check, service, grease, wash, etc...) then they sign off on it, and then their shop manager signs off on it before i can pick it up. I get a copy of it when we pick it up. It even shows that they drive the rv no less than 10 miles to,perform a "squeak and rattle" test. And that they try and correct any squeaks of rattles that they possibly can. They change the engine oil and filter and air filter, one really nice thing about this dealer is that in their policies it states in big red letters that if ANYTHING goes wrong with the rv within the first 30 days that they will fix, repair , or replace it, completely free of charge. This deaaler has been in business over 65 years i believe

I forgot to mention, it has brand new tires. The previous owner brought it in for tires and while it was there he decided to trade it in and get a class A. But i will still check the date codes, i know how tires can sit around before they are sold

I understand what you mean. ??. But we have been doing our research and budgeting our finances for the last 7 years to purchase a class c. So even though we wont be getting "exactly" 20 miles to the gallon, We will just accept whatever we get. LOL. We have a trip to Mt Rushmore planned this year, and even with gas campground fees etc.. It is still cheaper than flying and renting a hotel room! And then there are the beautiful sites to see while driving.....

Only 20? I get 21 going uphill into a headwind while towing!!! LOL

And another congrats. Our "new to us" 2008 Class C has had three excursions already. We're really enjoying it.
