The Sauk County Sheriff's department claims that the guards greatly reduce the amount of damage done. You have to keep in mind that these are not cheap ones made form light weight (almost conduit thin) metal. The guard that he installed on is class C looks like it should help keep the MH alive to avoid being stranded in a remote area.
Unfortunately, I have hit way more than my share of deer, or should I say that they hit me. A majority of the deer hits that I have been involve in have been the deer hitting the side of my vehicle.
I’ve “only” been hit by a deer once... but I’ve managed to hit 4 deer, in my 33 years and many hundred thousand miles of traveling Wyoming roads!
