New floors for my motorhome, laminate wood or tile ?

Looking to replace the carpet and linoleum in my Bounder, with either laminate wood or tile, what have any of you have done and what is best, I also am doing the bathroom as well, have heard there is a laminate wood approved for wet/bathrooms now..

  • I like vynil. Tile can crack, laminate/wood can rot if water issue... Of course looks matter too.... If I was going to do one of the three mentioned, laminiate would be it.

Otherwise I'd lay down wood looking vynil.
  • Allure all the way , check out my thread about my install ...super easy

    Glued down engineered wood.

That's what the real experts use and recommend. It's dimensionally stable.

Of course it costs more which is why people use cheaper alternatives.

Tile is problematic unless you can find flexible grout and drive a bus conversion :)

I heard it was better to float the wood floors because of moisture that make the wood expand..
  • Currently have laminate. If redoing would look at either flexible Allure or the new snap together tiles.
