New guest, first post

I’m new to this group and want to introduce myself and hopefully some of y’all may be able to help. My husband is part of The RV Show USA, a radio program about the RV lifestyle http://TheRVShowUSA.com
I’m one of the people that lines up guests for the show. The 2 hour Live program covers everything to do with RVing. From factory reps and well-known YouTubers to experts in the way of RVs and RVing to nice RV Destinations to visit. If anyone in this Group has a recommendation for a show guest, please have them contact me and we’ll do our best to get them on the show. Finally, I’m really new at this and hope I didn’t break any rules by making this post. If I did, I apologize! Lisa Warren
  • "I know they're trying to stay away from controversy and arguments on the radio."

Then the show would be boring. Would you listen to a show about whether sugar is sweet? The clear sky is blue?
  • Hi Lisa, and welcome. A topic of Tires is also a topic that brings out a lot of experts. Ha Ha.
Seriously there are a few guys on here that would make good guests on the show. A couple already listed.
  • Brett Wolfe is very knowledgeable about diesel engines etc. He could do a whole show about moving a PAC brake compressor. And don't get him started on cruise control :)
  • Thanks for the welcomes and suggestions. I know they're trying to stay away from controversy and arguments on the radio. It's not that kind of show. The Show is about fun and they keep things very positive and upbeat. I know it's sometimes not easy to do nowadays!
  • OK, Can't help myself. Yes to brakes and NOYB whether I do or don't on the other. Seriously MsSmith is right, these are the two topics that people jump all over. Logic goes out the window and sadly in some cases so does civility. So, Welcome and Good Luck!
  • If you want to have some fights on the radio talk about having aux brakes or not on a towed vehicle! That always starts some lively discussion. The only subject more lively would be whether to carry a gun or not in the motorhome! :)

  • Thank you! My husband and I love the RV community and everyone in it. He's really good on the radio and I'm just trying to help them find some good people and interesting things for them to talk about on the show. I'm open to any and all suggestions that will help get the word about about the fun that RVing provides.
  • Can't help with a guest but want to welcome you to the forum!I am sure their are many on this forum that have someone to suggest...
