Thanks to you all for the welcome and thanks to Ch-ta (Chris)for all your help and the nice welcome. You are right there are some very nice people on here. And bsinmich I promise I will have my black and gray water figured out before having you for a drink! And to gbopp, thanks for the little cheat sheet on the lingo, very helpful. And Brad from Akron too, what are the chances. I love your Keystone. It was a picture of the outside kitchen that Chris has of his Keystone that made me join the forum to ask him questions. I think I am shifting from looking at getting a travel trailer to a class c. And Ron you asked some very good questions as to what I am looking to do with it. So as far as price, I hear if I go with a dealer they may come down on what they are asking, but I would like to spend about $45,000 to $50,000. And one of the reasons other than the comfort of being able to move around inside on a trip with a c, is that I would also like to purchase some property out away from everything. And with a generator and a c I would be able to do so without having to pay to have power ran out to a spot I may purchase. Also I am sure there will be times when we may end up at a camp ground, but for the most part I think I would like to be out away from everyone. Please dont get me wrong I am not antisocial, but after doing what I have for the last 30 years I just want to be away from it all when I retire next year. My wife will still be working so our trips would be out to our close site for the most part, but we want to hit the Grand Canyon too one day. It will be just her and I for the most part, maybe one of our children now and then but they are all older now.
So, thats the game plan. If I can get what I am looking for under my budget I would love to get a couple acres of my own. Hey Brad! Want to go in on some land together fellow Buckeye?
