I just googled "RV shows in Akron, Ohio". There are several listed. Leave your wallet and checkbook at home (you'll be tempted) and attend a few. Bring a notepad. Look through all the brands and types and take notes including prices, but only for comparison. RV prices at shows are just for "show". Then when you get home, write down what you liked about the interiors and what you could live without. Write down the dealer's name for when you get serious.
When you do go to a dealer, always take somebody with you to take notes. Even if you decide to look in the used market, you'll have a list of things you can live without. If the owner is eager to sell, you can negotiate.
