New Rv auto awning will not operate
Love my 2014 Jayco Senaca it is only 8 mos since new and the only time the awning was operated was at delivery check out. Have done the obvious BREAKER -FUSE OK. WITH SWITCH HELD IN OPEN COMMAND TA...

Our Awning runs off the house batteries and will not operate if the ignition swich is in the on position.

I work on Jayco. They use the Coach batteries. Never tried with Key on or off as there is NO reason. BUT, Every time I operate a Jayco motorized product the Key is OFF. There is ONE model of Tiffin, that uses the COACH batteries to operate the awning, but for some reason Tiffin decided to require the KEY ON to operate the awning. Makes no sense, but that is what Tiffin decided on this one specific model a few years ago. Doug
