... just a thought... we traveled the country constantly for 8 years in our motorhome, including all summer to Alaska, and boondocking a lot via gravel roads and never needed a tire. Check them often and replace due to age, not looks. Yes, you 'may' have an incident but there's a better chance you won't. If you do, you have roadside insurance and just maybe you'll have to pay more for a tire but you're going through the expense of mounting it, carrying it around for years and if you do use it you'll probably want to replace it anyway due to age.
