Just as a heads up, Lazy Daze Class C motorhomes may still have some negatives that LD may not have changed sinced when we were shopping several years ago:
- Their internal framing was wood, not steel and/or aluminum.
- Their roofs were aluminum, which at first may sound good ... but an aluminum roof is subject to permanent denting from hail stones.
- Their motorhomes were advertised/touted as being low in overall height, but what you give up with this lower height is exterior storage cabinets tall enough to be really useful.
Otherwise, LD Class C motorhomes look beautiful and do have a very generous fresh water tank capacity in their shorter length models, plus ... their shorter length models are still built on the heavier duty Ford E450 chassis for exceptional durability and ruggedness with respect to the motorhome's overall weight -> what I call "chassis overkill".
