I like buying a one owner used RV because you know who has owned it and can usually get a complete file including purchase invoice and maintenance records. If you narrow your search down to a specific brand or two, you can check for the owner's forums where you might find used units FSBO. This approach worked well for me after I did my research and determined that I wanted a LAZY DAZE Class C. Even buying from the original owner, I still had plenty of maintenance to do in order to bring the unit "up to code". But now that the process is complete, I am very happy. Our 27' Class C is easy to drive, park, and manuveur. We don't feel cramped (2 adults and 2 small dogs). Easy to pack up and go! But comfortable to live in at the same time. We can pull in and be in bed in less than 10 minutes.
