Just looked at the two RV's you posted a link to and the 86 IMO looks to be taken care of more by the pictures, and everything has been looked at by a service center. One thing you can do is have a complete inspection done by a independent individual then go by that. May also have the owner pay half if all works out, he could pay for it completely with a conformation of you purchasing it depending on the results of the inspection.
