New to this forum-Hurricane 34B
Hi All,
We are currently in the middle of purchasing a 2008 Hurricane 34B that we really like the layout of. We have been in a class C unit (an '07 Fleetwood that we had for around 3.5 years) and decided we would like a little larger unit that of course still has room to sleep our 2 daughters (in the bunks). My mother also comes with us often so the space is nice. We are not full timers by any means. Mostly weekends in the summers and then a trip once a summer thats about a week long. Someday when we retire we plan on full timing but for now we are weekend warriors!
I guess my question is if anyone has some comments about the Hurricane or Thor units in general it would be greatly appreciated! Whether good, bad or ugly-any little quirks to them, etc. The motorhome seems to be in very good shape (it has about 20K for mileage & about 350 hrs on the gen) so that tells me the prior owner used it regularly which I do like, thus working out any kinks that may have been there. He kept it in excellent condition
This site seems to be great! Although we have had a class C for 3.5 years or so, I consider myself very new to RVing. All the helpful hints here are great. Just gaining knowledge on the inner workings of the RV or any RV is very helpful!! Sorry for the long post but any feedback is greatly appreciated!
