I also don't understand why you can't go vented.
We had CW install a vented XC2100 in our coach about 18 months ago and they had to cut a hole in the coach side wall for the vent. The location for the hole was indicated on the wall by the coach manufacturer.
We have found that the best way to dry our clothes is to first pull them out at the end of the wash cycle and shake them out. Next, we dry them for about 20 to max 40 minutes and then hang them on a rack or hangers. This reduces wrinkles and allows us to get another load going sooner.
If the back of the WD is against an inside wall there is no place to run a vent duct. In some rare instances there is enough room behind the WD to use a 90 degree adapter but, in out case, there is insufficient clearance. Modifying the WD for a side vent outlet doesn't work either so those of use with the WD on an interior wall are stuck using a ventless model.
On ours, our cabinet is 26-3/4" deep and the XC2100 is 21" deep so there is room for the flex vent to fit. Have you measured your cabinet and compared it's dimensions to the W/D unit?
