You might want to rethink 'flushing' the transmission. My company has had to repair more than a few vintage transmissions that were subjected to a flushing process by less than ethical shops. Changing the filter, replacing the pan gasket and refilling with Dextron 3 is all that is necessary for a proper service. Do this @ 24,000 mile intervals. Changing over to syn fluids is a waste of money in your application.
