I bought an '87 Falcon 170 with a Chevy engine last Fall. The engine is in great shape - 75 K miles, but I've done a lot of repair on the cabin. Repaired all plumbing leaks, replaced toilet, put in new tub faucet, took out broken Dometic fridge and replaced it with electric, installed microwave. My main problem right now is a leak in the side, sliding window. I replaced the rubber & felt gasket that was dry-rotted so hard the window wouldn't open; now the window opens but it leaks and I can't seem to find the cause. Does your side window work?
