Newer Ford V10 Gas Mileage
So, the Ford V10's with the Torqueshift 5-speed, what kind of mpg are you getting? Yes, I know alot depends on coach size and weight, but on average, how much?

Getting to the OP's question about the newer F53's. The five speed doesn't help fuel mileage at all, it has the same gear ratios in the top three gears. Ford did drop the axle ratio in some of the lighter GVWR chassis in the last couple years though, that could help a little.
