Newer Ford V10 Gas Mileage
So, the Ford V10's with the Torqueshift 5-speed, what kind of mpg are you getting? Yes, I know alot depends on coach size and weight, but on average, how much?

We're looking at units with bunk beds. And to meet our price point, it'll probably be a gasser. I really hate to give up the DP.

Between $80k - $90k, which is probably doable for an older DP, but there aren't many newer DP's with bunks at that price. And the wife would like something 2011 or newer.
yeah you're spending minimum $140k on a new entrey level DP. FR excursion (no bunkhouse) and Thor Palazzo 33.3 come to mind. Palazzo touts it's mileage in the 10-12MPG range but best price I could find was $139k. I get 8-10 mpg on the ACES and they are light coaches (16k#). Same Ford V-10, add more weight, mileage goes down. 8-10mpg on a 30 footer, 6-8 mpg on a 34'+ would probably be accurate averages.
