have Winnebago 35Z, weight with toad 26000 #'s, I actually receive better mileage at 65-70 mph. Get 6.6-8.2 pulling I-81 thru Tennessee, Virginia, Pennsylvania and in cruise control. When I drove from Winchester, Virginia across I-68 to Ohio running 64 mph mileage going west was 6.4 mpg and returning stepping up to 68 mph up received 7.2 mpg this was all hilly country. On the flat land going south. In my case My motor-home seems to do better between 65-70 mph. But with all this said I feel if I can average 6 mpg, and I have exceeded that its fine. My only concern with a gas motor-home is ability to brake at that speed.
