Newer Ford V10 Gas Mileage

6-8 miles per gallon can be looked at many different ways. The point of view I use is that its a lifestyle of leisure and could better be measured in gallons per week. That right! If your have a need to get between point a and b, maybe a plane train or auto is more effective, than a home on wheels. Our travel profile with the class a to motor across Texas quickly as it is hot, and get to the high country in the south west where we will change location only once a week and not more than a couple hundred miles. At that rate our continuing gas cost is 100$per week which is sustainable. Next year we will go to alaska about 11 thousand miles round trip at a cost of 6000$ in gas but only about 250 dollars per week. A cruise or nice resort can quickly outspend that in a week or two. Its a lifestyle not a track race...
