Newmar Canyon Star

I am thinking about buying a new Canyon Star. I know that many folks have a very high opinion of Newmar.

Does that include their gas motor homes ? This one seems to be very well appointed.

Your opinions please.

  • I have to agree with what all those who have posted here have said. I have the first model year, a 2007, and it's still a champ. With the ducted A/C, dual pane windows, custom cabinetry, ample storage underneath and a very reliable F-53 chassis you just can't go wrong. We love ours, wouldn't change a thing!

    The 2013 3610

We went to North Trail RV in Fort Myers last month to look at the Canyon Star 3610 and the Tiffin 36LA since they have very similar floor plans that we like and North Trail carries both. There are some things we liked better about the 3610 and some things we liked better about the 36LA. In a perfect world we could combine what we liked about each and that would be the end of the discussion. Although we have not made our purchase yet it looks like it will be the Tiffin 36LA. The rear bath is more spacious in the 36LA than it is in the 3610 and we like a spacious bathroom. But realistically we could live with either model.
  • Mine is now 10 years old and people think it is a lot newer than that. The full body paint and always stored inside help but it is quality to begin. The AC ducting has to be one of the quietest I have ever heard and the insulation is great.

    The 2013 3610
  • Newmar makes excellent motor homes. The only other company I'd be interested in the price range we bought would be Tiffin.

We would gladly buy Newmar again.
  • We bought a 2009 last year and LOVE it. Real wood cabinets and an overall quality workmanship. Insulation is an order of magnitude better than our "old" 5th wheel. I think you'll be very happy with it.
