It's air entering/leaving the brake chambers.
Remember air pressure releases the brakes, lack of air allows the brake springs to apply the brakes.
What you are hearing is the air pressure being applied to the brake cans.
or
you have a brake can rod scraping the can. (very doubtful)
OR
You have disk brakes and the caliper squeaking as it releases. ( it will quit )
