I'm curious and rather uninformed on electric cars, but could you add solar panels to help charge the batteries and give more range? Or would that be too complicated to work into an already complicated system?
You could buy a Tesla SUV (my BIL has one) and sleep in the fold down backseat for a mere 150 grand loaded. Nice car, goes like a scalded dog but way overpriced and has to be charged up nightly. I'm sure most campgrounds would frown at an EV plugged into their pedestal. probably tell you to leave....
