No Cruise

When taking our new to us 1998 Winnebago Chieftain out I realized that I don't have any cruise control. I am not seeing any fuses that are blown.. I guess I am not 100% sure if I am looking in the right place. Can anyone please get me looking in the right place? Ideas?

  • Brake switch. These folks are right. Ford or chevy. The brake switch is the first and easiest problem to solve.
  • The cruise control circuits are often routed through or depend on brake light switches to operate. This means that if the brake light switch is on continuously or malfunctioning the cruise control believes it should be turned off.
  • make sure your brake lights are not on. a hung or defective brake light switch will cancel your cruise control.
